Hi- My name is Tracy and I love to bake! It has been something that I have loved since I was a little girl in the kitchen with my mom. I learned to cook by watching and helping my mom in the kitchen. I also helped to teach my sister to bake when we were younger. She is a fantastic cook today! I’ve spent time in many a relatives kitchen and always loved trying new recipes! Many of my family memories center around spending time cooking and baking in the kitchen with my mom and sister whenever we get together!
I am a single mom to a sweet little girl that is the love of my life! She keeps me on my toes and is full of love, laughter, and life! She has many special needs so I am learning so many things through her development and as we try to go to the numerous doctor’s appointments and therapy sessions that she needs. She also has Celiac Disease, so now we are living a gluten free life. Going gluten free was a big transition for me and I didn’t bake often or get to really enjoy my favorite recipes unless I went to my parent’s house for dinner. So learning to cook and bake gluten free has been a big process, but one that I am excited to share with you! My little girl loves to eat and we often do not have too many special treats because her system is fragile and I haven’t always been able to make gluten free baked goods. So now when I make something and she sees it, she says “Me Mommy, me eat too?” I am always so happy to say ” Yes this is for you!” She bites into it and the biggest smile stretches across her face!
I love to host parties and decorate and plan all the fun and pretty details of a party. I’ve been called “the hostess with the mostest” and Martha Stewart. If I had another career it would be a party planner. So I am excited to share some of my parties that I’ve done with you.
I also work full time as a teacher, so life is busy and full everyday. I love teaching and am passionate about my students.
I am a Christian and I have a very deep faith. I know that God is in control of my life and He has a plan for me. So many of the things that I’ve done in my life, I know that He had a hand over. So I am praying that He will guide my words as I share them with you and share some of the highs and lows I’ve had of being a single mom. The blessing of becoming a mother to my sweet girl was nothing short of a miracle. So I’ve seen miracles happen in my life and I trust that God has more planned for me. Life is good! I want to share my Sweet Gluten Free Life with you!
